The MovieMantz Double-Feature: “THE GODFATHER” & “GOODFELLAS”

On previous episodes of "The MovieMantz Double-Feature," I chose films that were similar in many ways, most of which were more subtle than obvious. But for this episode, I chose 2 masterpiece films that had very little in common: 1972's "The Godfather" and 1990's "Goodfellas!" Of course, both are crime dramas about the mob, but they are very different depictions of the mob, and they are also very different on a cinematic level -- but they complement each other perfectly, which is what makes them the perfect double-bill! And talk about a double-feature that you can't refuse!
